NAME: My name recently reverted from Sandra Zervos to Sandra Rhodda.  While my  official transcripts are in the name of "Rhodda",  all publications are in my former name of "Zervos".

 

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:  B.Sc.  (first class honors equivalent) 1979.  PhD, "Population regulation of thelastomatid nematodes (Nematoda: Thelastomatidae) of cockroaches." 1986. Both from University of Canterbury, Christchurch 1, New Zealand.

-rearing and maintenance of steinernematid nematodes (two           strains of Heterorhabditis heliothidis and two species of Steinernema) in vivo and in vitro.     

-maintenance of the symbiotic bacteria associated  with steinernematids

-manipulations of populations of steinernematid  nematodes in order to  identify life history traits  and population dynamics 

-behavioral aspects of steinernematid populations
